In pursuance to MHA letter No 27012/18/2009-PF-III, dated the 15/03/2010, as conveyed by Directorate General ,CRPF, New Delhi vide signal No. O.IV.1/2008-Org, dated 08/04/2011, Rajasthan Sector HQ came into existence at 83 Bn Lalwas, Jaipur on 07/04/2011,Sector HQr Shifted to Kendriya Sadan, Block B,Sector 10,Vidhyadhar Nagar,Jaipur on 25/06/2011. Now Sector HQr Shifted to its permanent land of 07 acre at Nayla Jaipur on 15/Sep/2021
Range Ajmer : Raised on 1/11/1956 ,In compliance of GOI letter no 7/6/56-Pt.II dtd 3/8/56. The first DIGP was Shri B.B Mishra IPS.
Group Center-I : Raised on 1/8/1968 , In compliance of GOI letter no F-6(25)I-C-67-11part-2 dtd 31/7/68. The first commandant was Lt.Col. S.S Kamvargimat.
Group Center-II : Raised on 1/8/1968 , In compliance of GOI letter no f-6(25)I-C-67-11.part-2 dtd 31/7/68. The first commandant was Shri Maha Singh.
Composite Hospital-Ajmer : Raised on 1968
246 Bn : Raised on 1/4/2019 at GC Rangareddy. In compliance of Dte.Gen. CRPF order no.O-IV-1/2018-Org-DA-II dtd 24/4/18. Later the unit shifted To Nayla, Jaipur on 26/01/2020.
