Central Training College, Gwalior was established on 11/02/2005 with a view to meet the increased requirement of training of Subordinate and Under Officers. The College is entrusted with the responsibility of conducting various promotional and other in-service courses.

CTC,CRPF,Gwalior is located between Gwalior and Shivpuri on NH-3. It is situated approx. 25 Kms away from Gwalior Railway Station.
Panihar is a Village in Ghatigaon Tehsil in Gwalior District of Madhya Pradesh. It belongs to Gwalior Division . It is located 25 KM towards west from District head quarters Gwalior. 12 KM from Ghatigaon. The campus can be reached from Gwalior Railway station via bus and auto.
Gwalior district is in the centre of the surrounded area, and is mostly flat. Although its southern part is surrounded by hills, above sea level is only a few hundred feet height. Gwalior is located at 26.22 N 78.18E
It is at an average elevation of 197 meters (646 feet).
During the summer months, the climate of Gwalior is dominated by the scorching heat and the humidity. From April to June Gwalior experiences summer months with temperatures soaring to a high of 21 - 42 °C.
The monsoon starts usually from the middle of June and continues till the middle of September.
The climate of Gwalior steeps down to a chilling temperature of as low as average 7 degree centigrade.
