Central Training College-Coimbatore, CRPF came into existence on 1st September, 1969 at Avadi (Tamilnadu); Between 1975 and 1997 the institution shifted to several places such as Coimbatore(MP), Deoli (Raj), back to Avadi and finally to Coimbatore on 1st May 1997. This institution is located in a sprawling and picturesque campus on the foot hills of the Nilgiris. Within a very short span, since its establishment at the new location, the College has developed itself as a Premier Training Institution of the Force with no looking behind.
This Institute is having all the facilities to impart purposeful training within its own land of 400 acre.
