Established in the Blue city of Rajasthan, the Primary purpose of RTC Jodhpur is to train newly inducted Recruits of CRPF and transform them from civilians to battle hardened soldiers who will uphold the spirit of Constitutional values and serve our nation with courage and dedication. RTC aims to inculcate discipline through a variety of methods, including physical fitness, drill, and adherence to strict codes of conduct. This training is designed to instill a sense of discipline and self-control in recruits, which is crucial for success of the Force.
We aspire to be a Center of Excellence and the First Among The Best in Recruit Training in CRPF. We aim to transform civilians into soldiers who can contribute to Nations idea of Equality, Liberty and Fraternity while also maintaining and ensuring security to all citizens besides providing manpower to our great nation for citizen centric Policing, addressing Internal Security threats and emerging challenges viably.
We shall make excellent soldiers who will defend the Rule of Law, respect National values of Secularism, Democracy, Equality and Service to People and ensure the dignity and Human Rights of the citizens with sensitivity.

With the growing need to cater and impart Basic Training to Recruits in CRPF, this RTC was raised in Suratgarh – Rajasthan on 01/09/2014 and was further shifted to its current location - Jodhpur on 15/07/2019. Since raising, this institute has imparted successful training to around 6000 Recruits and has run in-service courses for around 5000 Force Personnel.
The Training Institution is headed by Deputy Inspector General of Police(DIGP) assisted by a Commandant, 2 Deputy Commandants and 5 Assistant Commandants. The sanctioned strength also includes two CMO/SMO/MO and 1 AC(M).
The Training/Adm staff includes Subordinate Officers of the rank of Insps, SIs, ASIs and Other Ranks like Head Constable and Constables. All training staff of this institute are expert in their fields like Drill, Firing, and Physical Training etc.
This institute is committed to provide excellent training to Recruits and other trainees and is further striving to improve its facilities and buildings to improve training experience of both faculties and trainees. This campus has seen more than 20000 saplings planted in 2023 so far by the efforts of all staff and is one of the greenest campuses compared to surrounding area.
Designed in authentic "Solaṅkī style" the gate exemplify strong security features of Rajasthan Forts and culture of this land with two watch towers on either side, an colossal entry Gate and Camels carved out of red stone to welcome.
E-Inaugurated by Sh Amit Shah, Home Minister, Govt. of India on 18 August'2023, this state of the art building is fully functional where all Executive and faculty officers sit and is the popularly known as the Main Office.
Other buildings that are functional and aid to Administration and Training are Quarter Guard, Parade Ground, Training Ground, Multipurpose Gym, Drill Hall, Library, Computer Lab, Barracks for Other Ranks, Hospital, Sarva-Dharm Sthal, and Family Quarters. Other buildings are in the process to further aid training and improve living standard of Personnel and families living in Campus.
