The Government of India established the Office of the Inspector General of Police, Central Reserve Police Force, Western Sector, Mumbai in April 1991. This office has been situated at its current location, A I wing, 3rd Floor, CGO Complex, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai, since April 9, 1992.
