Administrative and Operational set up of Western Sector

Three Ranges, three Group Centers, fifteen regular Battalions and two mahila battalions have been placed under the administrative control of this sector. Two Rapid Action Force battalions (100 RAF at Ahmadabad, Gujarat and 102 RAF at Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra) and one MHA reserve Bn i.e 242 Bn are under the operational control of this sector.
